Can anyone else relate?

I can go in public for just a couple hours and get called cute and beautiful by random strangers on the street. I was waiting for my Uber and this random man started calling me gorgeous and asking if I was a model lol. And then he kept offering to drive me anywhere (obviously I said no). Women have been much colder to me though, like a female cashier completely ignored me at a cafe and served everyone else before me. Someone else ended up taking my order.

And I’ve only been blonde for a few days. I feel self conscious in a way, since it’s very bright and attention grabbing. And I feel people staring at me in public. I think one woman at my building thought I was a prostitute or something lol (I had boots with big heels on them). And I’m still in my late 20s btw, but my parents live in a fancy condo with a private elevator and most of the people living there are retired wealthy people. I was only visiting for Christmas.

I got attention with very long brown hair (and when I say long, I mean like 22 inch extension long). But with blonde hair, it’s like I can’t stand outside for 30 seconds without being accosted or someone commenting on my appearance.

And the weird part is, I almost think I look more attractive with BROWN hair lol. But the blonde is just so bright and attention demanding. I also have to wear so much makeup and bronzer because it washes me out so much. I don’t know how I can return to work with hair like this though (I work in a serious conservative environment). So I might have to cut it a bit shorter or tone it down some.

I'm fine with most of your story. 20 something blonde gets lots of attention, but I hope as you get older you'll rethink your attitude towards women. Turning a story about bad service into proof thst all women are against your blonde self is not cool.

Yep I'm Asian and although I get lots of attention I am not blonde level. I actually think many beautiful women of color are missed due to the initial attention factor a blonde receives (in other words, a blonde could be a 6 but get the same attention a 10 WOC receives). But this is probably a good thing because strange male attention sucks.

We are in a white supremacist society - so glad you’re figuring that out OP!

Yep, it's a by product of racism for white folks.

There’s a reason why most strippers are blonde.

and those are not my natural states but I've been them all at different times. And it's not just self confidence.

I have fone that from time to time, but subtle auburn looks best with my coloring.
I’m gonna go with that and not the attention seeking blonde.

Natural blond here. So, when I was 8, I looked like a hooker? Like it or not, blond hair is eye catching and blondes receive a lot of atention...much of it unwanted.

Natural blond and bleached blonde are two different looks

I know. I have blonde hair and had white blonde hair when I was a kid. Been dealing with creepy, unwanted attention from men since I was about 8 too.

I had a friend who did this in our 20s and found the same thing.

It is funny, for me I was the opposite. I have naturally dark blonde/ashy blonde hair and got it done several shades lighter for years. A year or so ago I decided to go darker and wow, I got A LOT more attention. I have ice blue eyes and the darker hair really made them pop. That plus my more olive complexion and I think I suddenly looked "exotic".
