That seems anxiety inducing. I prefer pops of colors in furniture and accessories and more muted wall colors. How about yellow bed frames?

One of our kids picked a similar yellow as you described for their bedroom. Not my style, but it is a pretty shade. Matches their personality.

Won’t you have to paint anyway when you sell? That said, this particular shade is too intense for an entire room. Doesn’t mean you can’t consider other yellows.

I think you'll get tired of something so bright quickly. Try Benjamin Moore Pale Moon instead. It's a nice sunny yellow, but not overpowering.

We used BM Yellow Raincoat in my DD's room and it's bright but not acidic. I am a big fan of yellow though.

I’d go with white, which is also bright and cheerful, but allows more flexibility. Put up yellow pictures and use yellow accents.
Paint colors can change over time. I’d be afraid that yellow, particularly, could end up being less appealing in the long run.

i had a house with a yellow kids room. sold on the first showing.
i also had a house with a yellow craft room. did not deter buyers, either.
if people don't like it, they can paint the room. or you can paint the room before you sell.
that one is VERY bright though.

I do rather neutral walls, bedding with yellow in it, and yellow accent, furniture, pieces, and rugs.
Like pictures on the wall with yellow in them, the smiley rug posted above, Aiello, ottoman, or yellow desk chair.
My biggest concern, is that kids’ preferences change. My daughter went from wanting hot pink & zebra print, to navy/Aqua, and now that she’s 15 her favorite color is light pink.
