I’m often jealous of my husband’s childhood. It was just so much more joyful and happier than mine. But it doesn’t matter much.

Married life is about choices. Glad that you realize your sacrifices have paid off and your family is better off. Being better off as a family is more important than individual success. Many of the feminazis don’t realize it

My wife is jealous I have a high paying career and am respected at work. She feels she is not given the same respect because she is a woman. I'm sure that has something to do with it, but she got fired from her last job mostly because she isn't dedicated to doing a great job at work. She always complained about it and seemed to clock out after 6-7 hrs and go to happy hour with co-workers. It is a different field and sexism is really, but I think effort also came into play. But maybe I'm just being jealous b/c my career required 60 hr weeks and hers requires 35 hr weeks and lots of social time.
