I don't always wear my rings (I have RA) and kept my maiden name when we married decades ago. What is wrong with you, OP? Leave your co-worker alone.

No one wants to see your food.

PP would rather see gushing declarations of your happily married life, first PP, so she can claim you're being fake on social media, and you're actually miserable because your husband is cheating on you. We all know the type

Nature, food and culture are wholesome. Continue with those.

???

Why wouldn't you believe her? Not everyone needs a big wedding celebration. I don't wear my rings, like many women I know. I use my maiden name at work, like most women I know.

Also, why would you gossip about her with another colleague? Why would you both impugn her character, just because she does not conform to your extremely narrow-minded idea of how women should act?

I can't believe you, OP. I really hope you're trolling.

She's not wearing any rings and she still signs e-mails under her maiden name. I have her on social media, but she hasn't posted anything pointing to her getting married. Her last post is of her and some friends in some informal dinner. I was talking to another friend at work and we both agree that she doesn't seem to be married and that she's probably embarrassed to be dating this guy for such a long time without a ring.

I'm not one to call troll, but this clearly is. We are supposed to believe that this coworker said she got married a few weeks ago and there were NO follow up questions or discussion in the moment? So she says, "I got married" and the next sentence uttered was on an entirely different topic?

I’ve been married 30 years and never changed my name. What century are you living in, OP?

Op should work on not broadcasting her lack of intelligence.

OP, your whole post is 100% projection and tells me SO MUCH about you as a person. It’s freakin hilarious.

“Maiden” name!?!? How old are you, OP.

Stop gossiping at work.

I don’t wear a ring, and I’ve been married 30 years. Engagement rings were invented to sell diamonds. Plus, why attract the attention of muggers?

Why does it matter. A marriage is not about a party or a ring. All you do is show up at the JOP. I know a few couples who married without all the pretense. Courthouse only.

Why are you so nosy, OP? Move on. Live your life and mind your own business.

This is the same troll as the “DH wants more babies” thread.

I think the better question is why are you stalking/investigating her? It’s creepy. Why is it important to you to see evidence?

You really don’t know why?

Because those questions are annoying. It’s none of your business. So she said it to put an end to the questioning from coworkers, which maybe she has been putting up with/trying to politely ignore for years.

There is a chance they got married…or they have discussed it & have specifically decided not to. Either way, I think she would like the questions to stop & to not have to explain her personal life to coworkers.
