That's sweet but it may take more than 30 years to find their place in the world and until then you are stuck with them.

Haha I love this. What is it with dads sharing all about their kids?

I remember when I was in law school everywhere we’d go in my hometown my dad would be sure to let people know I was going to be a lawyer (I’m embarrassed about it now, but it was sweet). And once we went out to a Mexican restaurant when I was maybe 12-13 weeks pregnant with my first, he had to make sure to announce to every hostess/server/busboy that he was going to be a grandfather.

I’m a teacher in an elementary school. I brought my DS to school today on the last day before break. He was so surprised that all of the teachers and admin knew who he was and told stories about him.
