Why should people who don't live in DC get paid to administer the DC government. That makes zero sense.

Unfortunately, it seems her legacy will be the mayor lost to professional teams and infested DC of crime.

And then she just has this mishmash of people who, quite frankly, just aren't that good. Her attorneys also aren't impressive and seem to be tripping over themselves handling "crisis" issues such as Falcchicio, crime and the selling off of our teams. The sexual harassment scandal, crime issues and the BIG deal regarding the teams really requires a high caliber legal mind who is media savvy and quick to put out fires. There are so many options in the District, why doesn't she have good lawyers at least? Maybe they could help her pick leadership in other areas as well.

The vast, vast majority of the appointees have a combination of dominant characteristics: incompetent, inappropriate in the workplace, and sometimes abusive toward staff. They have a practiced and vocalized disdain for everyone, from Council Members, Deputy Mayors on down to ordinary residents. I know it won't come as any surprise. But it's worse than you might already think.

Bullsh*t. Many of her Deputy Mayors are white and they suck. She just does not hire good people and she's insecure. She doesn't want smart people around her. Was John Falchicchio a diversity hire? She trusted him with everything and we know how that turned out.
