Guy here - I was recently hit with a lot of IG requests from these models. It was pretty obvious some type of scam was underway so I blocked them.

When TikTok was newish I told my neighbor that I thought it was fun and I was finding all sorts of new recipes, DIY home decor ideas, and running workouts mixed in with the cute dog videos. His response was “I gave up on TikTok because it’s full of racist memes and weird p*rn. I just changed the subject and hoped someday he would realize why my TikTok feed was so different from his.

They aren’t following him because they like him, they follow him because they want $$$$. IG Models and Only Fans / Cam girls are sex workers. Hopefully he understands that and doesn’t actually think they are putting themselves through school or whatever line they feed him.

If he’s not messaging and paying them, there is NO reason to like their posts unless he’s an idiot who doesn’t know how to use Instagram. He needs to learn how to save posts to look at later without following and likening things.

On the bright side it sounds like he’s about as internet savvy as my 4th grader who was shocked to learn that we can see everything he subscribes to, watches, and comments on YouTube - even though we’ve told him and he knows he is using my YouTube account. It’s embarrassing for a middle aged man to “like” and “follow” IG models publicly, but chances are he’s not cheating since he’s too dumb to cover his tracks.

Well, I'd ask him point blank. You can do it in a teasing non-judge way. I'd maybe give a pass if he followed a few passively for spank bank reasons. But it's weird if he's liking them, anyone can see that and any guy I'd date would be smart enough to not want that shown publicly.

Listen to your gut about this, OP. Ask yourself what other things he does or says that might indicate he's overly invested in appearances (and whether any future change to your own appearance is going to create issues for him, as you grow older together). And ask why he thinks it's OK behavior to follow these models and let them follow him back.

Nope, not ok. It's also public - anyone on his instagram can see these likes and follows. It's gross.

For the sake of your kids, don't marry him. Just enjoy dating him without being worried about sleuthing. If something is fishy it will eventually bubble up to the surface.
