My 20s kids play and so do a bunch of their friends. It’s fun and the days of it just being for seniors are past.

How embarrassing to have a need to gatekeep something as harmless as recreational activity. I don't play myself, but I think pickleball is great. It requires less space and equipment than a lot of other group sports, and many people can pick it up quickly. And, yes, it's accessible to some people with disabilities in a way that other sports are not.

If you are in Fairfax County, Pickleballerz is a local club with paddles to test out.
I’m sure there are also places in MD.
Selkirk Epic Amped. If he wants to play regularly, he should have a paddle that is in the $120-150 range. You can get more expensive ones, but I think you'd be wasting your money if you buy one of the cheap $59 jobs.
