This is EXACTLY what equity is. Remember, equity isn't the same as equality. It is the opposite. Under equality, the government gives everyone the same thing. Under equity, the government decides who gets more and who gets less based on its politics. It sounds like we agree that if this is done based on economics, that's OK.
