My friends who don’t work not understanding why talking on the phone on weeknights usually doesn’t work for me.

I hate tinted driver windows. We both get to the stop sign at the same time- I can't see you to gesture so I just go.

My mom texting me during work, every day during the holiday season, asking if I can call her asap when I have a minute ("It's not an emergency"). I call. It's always something like "I figured out the tracking for your christmas gift. I'm forwarding you an email." or "I'm emailing you gift options for the kids." But I saw the email, so the call was unnecessary. Yet if I ask if we can discuss over text, or reply to the email without calling, she ghosts me and acts hurt.

Irrational because I love her and she's doing nice things for us, but why can't we catch up on the weekend or the evenings? She gets insane at Christmastime!

I could be your spouse! I think people who rely on overhead lighting in the evening anywhere but the kitchen are soulless monsters. If DH is sitting in the living room past 9 pm with a bunch of overhead lights going, I dim them. We don’t need our house lit up like a cheap apartment late at night.

even if you are not using the space? that is so controlling, omg. I swear half of married ppl are low key being abused and dont realize. Id be pissed if someone told me what my ambient surrounding for my own personal use should be.

Man flu. Can be fatal if they are not fed constantly and/or if they leave the prone position. Showers, changes of clothing, and picking up Kleenex off the floor can exacerbate the condition.

The best treatment is to say on day 3 or later, “if you’re that sick you need to go to the doctor”.

I agree but that's not irrational that's just caring about others health. My neighbors skunk weed has stunk my apartment up for the last 48 hours. They have no respect or decency to anyone else just to OPEN A WINDOW or smoke on balcony.

Irrational? All of my pet peeves are totally rational.

I'll start. Stanley water cups. I don't get paying $40 for a straw cup that you have to lug by the handle.

I used an REI member coupon to get a 20% discount on a Stanley cup for tween dd.

But agree, they are stupid expensive.

You're a control freak.

If your DH doesn't turn the overhead lights off b/c he's merely not paying attention, so be it. But if he has ever expressed to you that he prefers the lights on while he's in the room and you keep changing them, then you're really messed up.

I didn’t say I wasn’t a control freak and not really messed up! Just that I hate tacky too-bright overhead lighting.

Our school driveway is at the top of a T-intersection. By law, cars turning right from the crossbar of the T should have priority over cars coming from the vertical line part of the T, because they’re continuous traffic and don’t have a stop sign. But inevitably cars coming from the vertical line part just drive straight through the intersection and stop sign into the driveway without looking or yielding. Just thinking about it makes me mad.

I want you to see me, too, but not my judgy relatives or acquaintances who are waiting to see how gray or chubby I look and gossip about it but will also gossip if we don’t send a card! I don’t have the energy to send two sets of cards, so you get the kids.

I don't think my Instagram algorithm knows me well.
