Guittard has great chocolate chips. I especially like the Akoma extra semisweet.

Dried cranberries are wonderful in cookies. Try in an oatmeal cookie with chocolate chips.

Trader Joe's sells a pound of chocolate bar that I chop up to put in cookies (Smitten Kitchen recipe) but I noticed they have a pound bar with pretzel and caramel bits so I bought that to try.

On Amazon you can buy callebaut callets. They’re pretty good.
“Chips” is usually a food packaging term that means they’re made with cocoa powder and some other vegetable fat. So it’s not really “chocolate” like we think of chocolate being made with cocoa butter. Some of them are, you can check the bag. And there are some good reasons to sometimes want a cocoa flavored palm situation like for candy coatings and stuff.
Anyway Callebaut is pretty good but not that expensive chocolate and the callets are just the same size as whatever chips and they have a high ratio of cocoa butter which makes them soft and melty so they’ll work well for your cookies. The 54.5% darkness level is perfect for chocolate chip cookies imo.

I put fresh cranberries and coconut in brownies and they were great. Maybe there could be a cookie variation.
