I'm in central VA. I got my insurance approval last week and had no issue getting mine (.25). According to the manufacturer, 1.7 is the only dose that's currently short. However, a lot of places were doing waiting lists during the shortage, my pharmacy was not hence the availability of the drug. My best advice is to find a pharmacy that doesn't have a backlog, because pharmacy orders ARE and have been getting filled for a month or so.

Alternatively, you *could* switch to another drug, but to me that process would be more frustrating than calling around to find a pharmacy that didn't wait list.
