All excellent schools -- it will largely depend on whether those are entry years or not.
For example, I believe that 4th is an entry year for Potomac so in some ways it may be easier to get in there than Flint Hill. On the other hand, it may be easier to get into K at Flint Hill than Potomac.

STA admissions for 4th is basically non existent plus STA is for boys and begins in 4th. GDS is touch as well. Potomac easier and then Flint Hill easiest of the group.
Meaning they admit about 30-35 BVR boys and the remaining 15 usually are legacies and siblings. PP is wrong about not admitting BVR boys. It is in the legal PECF charter. They must admit a certain percentage. Nice try pp.

STA is not accepting as many boys from BVR anymore. I have heard it it closer to 23 instead of 30-35.

9th last large entry year, admits about 20- 25 students for a graduating senior class of about 80-85.
Beauvoir’s K admissions is at about or below the 10% mark. 21 students admitted, no sibling preference, over 200+ applications.
2 years ago STA added 18 boys in 9th grade--my kid was one of them.
BTW the rest for this class (2025)
6th: 5 boys
7th: 10 boys
8th: 1 boy
9th: 18 boys
10th: 3 boys
11th: 2 boys
The later admits are athletes and replaced other athletes.

BVR numbers could be even lower since we have a sibling that was given priority in K…

Speaking for our Big-3, we were told admissions rate for PK was about 10% (200 applicants for 20 spots). As a welcome parent for accepted and new families, the yield rate seemed quite high. The clear majority of spots were accepted--we didn't seem to go far down wait lists.

How do people even reach this general consensus? It would be good to know an insider. People always claim the acceptance rate at such and such school is X%, because Y number apply for Z spots. But we know nothing about the yield rate (the rate at which accepted students actually select the school) so there is really no way to know unless you work in admissions.
