Anonymous wrote:I'm another who doesn't do holiday gifts for my kids' private music teachers. Their teachers are both business owners and get paid a very fair hourly rate. I imagine that when my teen graduates high school and stops working with his teacher, we will give that teacher a gift (and will try to make it something meaningful), and will do something similar when my younger child finishes with piano lessons.
