There have been concert films for ages now. And for anyone who thought Taylor Swift invented that genre, you missed out on seeing the recent rerelease of one of the best concert films of all time "Stop Making Sense"

I wonder the type of person, age, IQ, grade level (if not middle school) would write such a post?

Or racists don't want you to like her and prefer the blonde blue-eyed babydoll?

Signed,

Gen X

And U2 in 1987, the Stones had concert films etc. Taylor’s great, but not an inventor of movies about her concerts.

This Is It by Michael Jackson. I have seen a many a concert film over the years, Taylor ain't innovating in that area just because OP and the babies like her and think she's cool. More importantly, stop pitting these two and any other women against each other. More than one woman can command an audience at a time. Do we pit men against each other like this?

Same here. I was at Renaissance Thursday night singing and dancing with the rest of the audience.

+1

When would someone ask this same question about men?

Never.

It’s not a competition.

I think their partnership is partly thumbing their noses at Kanye due to the 2017 fiasco. Taylor never forgets.

Taylor wrote a post saying how much she’s learned from Beyoncé.

If TS is more popular, then it’s probably due to how she talks to her fans. She says stuff like, “We had a great year together…” If you are savvy to how she speaks, you will see why it’s so alluring.

Other music movies:

The six-hour Beatles movie
Dolly Parton
Tom Petty

Taylor did not invent this idea.

My thoughts:

T has dozens of classic songs. B has 3 or 4.

B is copying T's innovative concert movie idea.

A lot of B's lyrics are...let's just say not appropriate for younger listeners.

T is just a better singer, songwriter, and more admirable person.

Answer: Taylor Swift by a mile!

This is from 2019. Beyonce didn't copy Taylor.

How old are you?

Our family has lived in Europe for the past ten years. Taylor may be popular in the US and Latin America, but Beyoncé is more popular in Europe. And in Europe Rihanna eclipses both Beyoncé and Taylor.

Europe must be way behind the US. Your girl RiRi hasn't put out any notable music in wuite a while.
