I’m not even up for dating at the moment but if I were I’d be looking for a man similar to me, ie late 30s to late 40s who already did the marriage and kids thing and not looking to create another family. But I’m fighting off the 25yos with a damn stick!! (My job and hobbies are all tech related so I meet a ton of them)
It also may be down to the way millennials are aging. For a while people were saying that "people are just looking younger now" but then Gen Z came along. There has been a lot of discourse about Gen Z looking older, and now it's starting to look more and more like millennials were some weird anomaly generation that looks quite a bit younger than their actual ages. (Who knows why?) A lot of the men just probably think you're hot and look good and arent even aware of your age, arent trying to date older but you look good (you might even look younger than women their age, if Tiktok is any indication!)

My 25 years old son is a physical trainer and he told me, his father, that he is currently sleeping with seven different women who are in their mid to late 30’s with no intention of having a LTR with them. When I asked him why, his response was because they are low hanging fruit.

How many times do men have to tell you on here that they dont care about money/dont give an F about a woman's job? In fact, a woman making lots of money can even work against her sometimes... men want the kindergarten teacher, not the CEO.
+1
Far fewer men than women care about money. Some women are money hungry, that is literally all they think about - men are not like that.

There are several things happening I think. Girls their age want a model and/or a rich guy.
Women in late 30s and 40s look better than previous generations. I asked several of them how old they think I was and most were off ten year or even more.
Most were complete gentelmen. Three walked me to my car which was two miles away and paid for the empanadas in Adams Morgan as we were all starving.
Not going out with any of them, but definitely dancing and talking if they come up to me in a bar.
Wow, they paid for a Julia’s Empanada? A whole one plus a peach dessert empanada? That’s a high roller.
