Funny that we are all up in arms about outdated etiquette and traditions.
Today, a lot of what we buy is from from online and it took minimal effort, a couple of clicks and it was dropped off at our doorstep 2 days later.. The prices are public information and it should be assumed that the gift was bought at a black friday or cyber monday sale or with a coupon or some other discount.And just drop it in a bag... we don't need to obscure it in a box that has been tediously wrapped. The recipient cares about the gift not the presentation.
