Personally I am not a fan. My dh teaches a shae and isnt a very nice kid. Just feels incomplete.

DP. It definitely strikes me as Irish. Makes me think of Shea McGee from that Netflix home makeover show. Which isn’t a bad association. I don’t understand the white trash comments.

I know someone Jewish with the name. Probably mostly Jewish and Catholic

It's typically an Irish last name and it means admirable, fortunate or hawk-like. There is also a Hebrew meaning which is gift. I like it and it's unique but becoming more popular.

My neighborhood is pretty Irish Catholic, and I know a few Sheas. It's a rare name that I like for a girl or a boy. Slightly prefer it for girls.
