It was an unusually unattractive bunch overall for reality tv. Lots of really bad skin and bad hair.

Maybe the Survivor folks will increase that stingy million dollars now. It’s crazy that they’ve made so much money on that show over decades and still have the same prize. $1 million doesn’t go far after taxes these days.

There is a TikTok interview with one of the other players (I think Chad maybe, I can’t remember now) who said that this drama was all editing. Ashely didn’t try to reneg. She was having hesitations and for some reason Trey decided to keep going. And then they edited it together to make it look like she was backing out.

Which explains why none of the other players were upset with her. Ashley even said something to Mai in the most recent episode about Mai being in the far back and misinterpreting whatever was going on.

As a side note, did anyone else pick up on Mai being from Fairfax County? I wonder if anyone from DCUM will run into her IRL.

I’ve been enjoying the show, it’s a fun watch. I’m rooting for Phil to win, he seems like a good guy.

Trey ended up jumping 3 times. He was the only player who gambled more than once. They are yapping on about being “civil” and making it so every person took an equal amount of risk, but that’s not what happened. And Mai seems to be the only player with enough intelligence to understand what happened.

Yes, I hope Mai wins. Especially in light of the bromance she now has to contend with.

Yes, I was so puzzled by this. She went after Ashley because she reneged on the agreement, which resulted in Trey's elimination. Trey was so well-liked. No-one else cared? Maybe because she had a low number and had to do a jump anyway?

They should have followed Mai’s reasoning and rolled Ashley out. Mai is the only one who seemed to notice the Ashley was a total dick during glass floor. Trey should have still been in the game, but for her.

Agree they have increased the emotional aspect and voting. They haven’t done anything related to strength yet. Probably no battles to the death. I have liked it though.
