Disney cruise
Marriott Aruba
Beaches Turks and Caicos

Even if you went to a resort with all the bells and whistles, you don’t have to go on a water slide or drink a boozy drink. Do the activities that work for your family and avoid the others.

This just go on a Disney cruise. Make sure it stops castaway cay their island in Bahamas.

At 4 my kid like Curaçao. Most hotels aren’t all inclusive. Nice beaches and shallow with no slides. There were nice restaurants in walking distance of hotel. Probably one of our favorite islands

Also Vieques PR we didn’t go there with kids but the beaches were amazing, the water calm (at the time I was a non swimmer and it was fine even for me). You rent a house, rent a beater of a car and drive off road to some amazing beaches.

Long flight but Hawaii? Hilton Waikoloa has a lagoon beach that would be good with young kids. And there’s plenty of stuff to do in Hawaii if the kids tire of sun and sand.

Plus also my kids loved that they could get cupcakes and ice cream whenever they wanted lol.

Disney Cruise

Aruba at the Marriott Vacation Club, Hilton, or Hyatt. I forget which but they all have calm water and great pools.

Marco Island is a good suggestion. We’ve been there several times for various conferences, and my kids enjoy it. It’s an easy flight.

Half Moon Resort in Jamaica would be perfect for these ages, as would Round Hill (no water slides at either) and good food at both. Alternatively, in the US, there's the Breakers in Palm Beach.

Sarasota. The Gulf of Mexico is very shallow and calm.

Sounds like you would enjoy a Club Med location in the Bahamas or Turks and Caicos

Moon Palace in Cancun. It's middle of the road AI, huge complex, 2 heated pools, kids club. We're non drinkers and found a week long stay there relatively relaxing with two little kids.

Roatan. Stay in West Bay. The calmest, most bathtub like beach I've ever been to.

Hilton Head
St Augustine beach
Destin FL

The kids will barely have their feet in the water, so the cooler water temp will not be a problem.

I have! But a lot of them are all-inclusive with water slides etc. Hoping for someone who has BTDT with similar kids
