If he is a good player he doesn’t want a five and below throwaway ball. Assuming he is a 2011 or earlier Birthyear he would be a size 5 (born in 2012 or later would be size 4). You can find a FIFA Pro ball for $50 occasionally - usually a Puma Orbita 1 Pro - Puma.com has this in the La Liga yellow version on sale right now at $50 - this is a match quality ball with the “FIFA PRO” stamp.

If you don’t want to spend that - then look for an Adidas “competition” level ball. These MSRP for 60 but can often be found for 40-50.

Bright yellow and we use a sharpie to put our name on everything. At $12, the price is right.


I’m the first person who responded and think this is perfect. An air pump is a good idea too.
