Oh no - unless you have a huge frig and oven, you need to get with it - good luck!

Ugh haha I was hoping someone would say “Pfft you have plenty of time.”

I only have one oven and a 4 burner stove. No microwave. But DH did just clean out the basement fridge and freezer for extra room. In-laws are bringing pie, so I just need to provide ice cream/whipped cream for dessert course.

You do have time. Go place an order online for the basics. Pick up today and avoid the crowd.

Candied yams (MIL is bringing)
Collard greens with smoked turkey necks
Rolls
Apple pie
Pumpkin pie

(yes, this is a black family)

Love if you can share the collard greens recipe. I might be able to get my husband to eat that.

This is our menu too. Though I'm considering adding stuffed mushrooms from the OP.

A Black family? Pumpkin pie? I’m struggling not to ask you where your people are from. I kid. Sort of.

DH *hates* sweet potato pie. It's a running joke in his family but pumpkin is his favorite so pumpkin is what we serve.

Ok, sweet that your DH gets his favorite — including a bit of teasing. Plus there’s always the candied yams! Wishing you a lovely Thanksgiving, PP.
