while I'm not an expert on potomac, I agree that that's a big house for that price in that area.

and yes, the pictures are just super imposed on the screens afterwards and not actually on the TV. our agent did that when we sold. but maybe OP knew that already and their point was just that it could have been another picture on the TV's instead?

3.8 million for a kitchen with an awkward corner stove seems high.

Is the shower in the laundry room up to code?

If OP was sincere, I'm really sorry. But several of us smelled "realtor" and that's like red blood to denizens of this forum.

I had to click on the link to get what they were saying. I shouldn't have to click a link.

The OP was saying that the Realtor makes the terrible choice of displaying the actual house for sale (i.e., the house you are visiting, in person or virtually), on every digital screen in that house.

Builder used the same design for several other houses in Bethesda. There is nothing special about this house.

Cheap. builder grade materials throughout the house. Much better quality homes available for considerably less money.

Am i the only one who is surprised by the price? Doesn't seem like very much for a large house on an acres. But I guess because it's Potomac, and Potomac is a pita to get to/from with nothing worthwhile actually in it.

Also, why is there so much carpeting in the house?

PP here. I didn't sense that OP was a realtor. I do want to note that there is an incredible amount of paranoia in the forum where people think anyone who shows even a minimal amount of interest in a home and provides a link, they are called out almost immediately as being the realtor of the owner of the home. I cannot tell you how many times it's happened to me on this forum! So, so many times. Yet all I am is an ex-Bethesda homeowners currently living in a different state.

Another sprawling McMansion. Trying to show off. Big deal.

The home looks cold, unfriendly, and like the USSR's version of "rich."

When a realtor's assistant and ChatGPT collide in a failed attempt to avoid the usual "thoughts on this house I'm trying to sell?" post.

OP's entire comment is nonsensical, but in particular I think it's weird/funny that she seems to think that the owner of this (clearly staged) home has put a photo of their own home (the realtor photo from the listing, no less) on all the screens in their home.

Obviously the realtor inserted the photo into the pictures after the fact, probably due to some inane theory that the black screen of an "off" television made those photos less aesthetically pleasing, or some idea that repeating the photo of the house on all the TVs would help it sell. Realtors are very dumb sometimes.

But smarter than OP.
