Are they realy delayed by cars (not including the ones that are turning and will still be in the Bis lanes) or are they delayed by all the stops?

Given the percentage of nuts behind wheels in MoCo, I see many cars simply ignoring the paint and using the lanes, especially when no buses are in sight.

At a certain point walking is faster than the bus.
Bus lanes speed up bus trips.
Buses run roughly every 30 minutes. Are they adding more buses in the rotation? Or just that instead of being late by 5 minutes, they will just be on time at 30 minutes. I now drive, but I rode the bus for most of my life. Bus lanes won’t make a difference unless they’re adding more buses to the route which they won’t do.
You were never on any buses that were delayed by car traffic or by having to merge back into car traffic? I sure have. And being on time is better than being late.

You: the bus is bad because it's slow
Also you: one of the main things that slows buses is not the reason for the bus being bad
i used to ride the bus every day for many years. if i had to make a list of reasons why it sucked and hopefully i will never do it again, car traffic would not be in the top 20. there are SO many other reasons to hate the bus.
Such as the threat of violence? Can't tell you how many buses I've been on where people start screaming obscenities at each other for reasons that are difficult to understand.

Yes, you make a very good point in favor of the lanes - walking seems/is faster when the busses don't have priority/lanes and the roads are clogged with cars that have only a single occupant.
