I do love a water bottle! We lose or break so many, that even the cheapie ones get used.

Stop it with the goodie bags. You guys are creating a culture of torturing each other over stuff no one wants.

I try to do a consumable that is unique and fun, instead of the same candy they always see.

Items we've used: rock candy, rainbow lollipops, pop rocks, kinder eggs, fun packs of gum.

It doesn't have to be a LOT of candy for it to be fun.

This. It ALL ends up in the trash, candy, slap bracelet, keychain etc. ALL of it.

Art and crafts supplies are the only answer.

Agree with addding a larger snack that's not candy like popcorn or pretzels.

Much better than the typical party favor bag. At my child's party I gave out big containers of bubbles. Kids have enough candy, tiny toys, and erasers.

Would rather a packaged cookie or rice krispie treat or a bag of fruit snacks, animal crackers, or goldfish crackers than candy. We have plenty from Halloween! (although I'd suggest the same thing any time of year)
