That's what I do. An extra-wide monitor combined with Microsoft PowerToys (free) offers fantastic viewing/flexibility.

Yes and could not work without second one.

Just added my 3rd 46" Samsung Arc. One vertical and two horizontal. One horizontal split into 2 screens, one horizontal split into 3 screens.

Just imagine two of those and 4 documents open side by side, or 3 documents and email, all open and viewable at the same time. I have dual widescreen monitors and can see 1 pdf and 3 word docs at the same time. If my desk were bigger, I would get a third.

I've had two since the '90s. I went to four when I was working at home during COVID, and it made a huge difference.

I'd love to just have one nice screen for my telework days. I know they're only a few hundred, but I don't want to spend the money. Sigh

I have 2 and despite everyone telling me how much they love theirs and use it... I NEVER use it. It's basically a big photo of my family.

I do a lot of document review as well as comparing documents.

The part that pisses me off is that I can't figure out where my mouse is all the time and it's hard to move between screens.

When I was at my old job, they gave us each two monitors, which made everything so much more efficient. But now that I do all my work remotely, my new role doesn't really need that kind of setup. So instead of having two average sized screens, I swapped it out for a single giant monitor. 😎

You just drag things around. I generally have my email on my left most monitor, but I can easily pull it to the center screen when I need to.
