Why would it taint the jury pool? This is testimony and evidence that would get shown to a jury regardless.

If Trump does what Trump does, with his usual crap like "I didn't know the guy, maybe he brought coffee to a meeting one time" then is there still attorney-client privilege? Basically, if Trump makes a public statement that Ellis was not representing him then does attorney-client privilege still exist?
