+1 but sometimes C/A handles mild dyslexia cases because it is a comorbidity to ADHD but,yes, generally the school is geared to average to gifted ADHD kids

We have a similar kid and tried a few different options. This is the best option.

We left McLean for an IEP at Langley high. worked well

Also, there's Jemicy in or near Baltimore and Oakwood in VA. I've heard good things about both.

We've had a great experience at Chelsea. They do take kids with ADHD but not with significant behaviors. The reading intervention has been phenomenal. The main downside is that it's in an office building with a basketball court as the main outdoor space, but there's kind of a pocket park they use sometimes for flag football etc. It feels like a real school once you're inside, lol. It's a small school, but the students are generally pretty social.

I don't know that Lab is a sure bet. We have a DD there, but two separate coworkers of mine told me they applied there for middle school boys over the past several years and both were rejected with that profile (both mentioned severe ADHD, I'm not sure how severe the dyslexia was). I'm sure both kids would have done well there. I also suspect it could be slightly easier for girls because I think boys are over-represented.

Chelsea School and Diener are also options.

Severe ADHD rules out Siena. They old take mild/invisible cases.

The answer to the OP is Lab School. They are a bullseye for that profile.
