Yes— that is awesome OP! You inspire me! I figure setting aside one hour everyday to focus on body care is perfect. I can do cardio /weights/ yoga/ whatever feels right for my body that day. I’ve been doing 30 min of cardio (erging) everyday and then stretching, but no weights. I need to get that in there! Starting tomorrow I’ll squeeze 5 min of leg extensions. And maybe the next day 5 min of arm extensions (to counter all the time doing rowing).

Thanks for sharing your journey!

The reason you haven't seen any real drop in pounds is because you haven't started to work on your nutrition yet. Weight loss is all about calories in vs calories out. Lifting weights is not an effective method to lose weight but it's vital for overall health. Same with cardio. Great for overall health but not the most effective way to lose weight. The most effective way to lose weight is to consume fewer calories.

This. I would concentrate on cardio and core/balance work more than “weight training”.

I have been working out for 25 years and I can't work out more than 4 times a week. The goal is to make the workout intense and effective with a few set of exercises. I am not a bodybuilder but I am pleased with the way I look.
