Quite simple. The person that buys expensive trucks normally has even better toys!! Horses. Boats. Jet skis. Motorcycles. Jeeps. Race cars. Folks that drive Hondas so not own any toys. That makes them jealous. Oh. And the fact that many toys are bought by the truck drivers business. Yes toys are another write off!!

Exactly. Or Navigator or Suburban/Yukon XL/Escalade. Or the big Mercedes/BMW SUV's.

Dumb people spending their money in a dumb way. Breaking news at 11.

The big Mercedes and bmw are in an entirely different class, though probably the same price.

I was simply referring to price and lack of value.

And to the PP, just because one can easily spend $100k on a car does not make it a good value.

Again. A bunch of poors that have trouble affording a Prius are jealous of rich folks who like nice cars and trucks. Typical DCUM!

This is how he became a billionaire, selling crap cars to dumb men who think big trucks and Jeep’s are cool.

But Jeeps are cool. Undeniably cool.

Big trucks? Meh…unless they’re for towing trail-only-Jeeps someplace to go Jeeping. Then they’re cool.

It’s a 4 door full size pick up truck that’s quicker than most Ferraris. $120k is a bargain for that kind of performance. It should cost a minimum of twice that price.

If they are over a certain weight amount, the business can fully depreciate the vehicle in a year or two (section 179 bonus depreciation).

Huge tax savings for a small biz, can shield like $100K in income from the tax man if they buy one of these American made luxury bulldozers

This is no different from all those Yukon XL Denalis and Lincoln Navigators driving around. They are everywhere.

Agree 100%. Even if money was no object, I wouldn't spend over 80k on any type of vehicle. Vehicles today are overpriced and packed with features that most people, that know how to drive, will never need.
