I drive an F150.

Mercedes GLS. It’s my third one and this time I got the captain’s chairs so it only seats 6. Next time I’ll go back to the 7 seater.

Porsche Cayenne and Tesla Model X. Love them both. First time ever that we share both cars vs his and hers.

2 year old Mazda CX-30. Kids are 6 and 2 1/2. I bought it because we live in the city, I like being up high, it was quite reasonable in price, and it's great for navigating in tight spaces. Previously had an Accord. I don't know if I just never noticed it and now I'm starting to, but that thing is so freaking loud with a buzzing noise when I'm driving, like it's using all of its possible might to accelerate and just drive. I feel like it's the little engine that could. Dealer/maintenance says there's nothing wrong with it, but I'm not sure they actually drove it and see what I'm talking about. Liked the thing at first, but now I'm annoyed. Also, back seat is small. Fine for one in a booster and one in a 5 point harness, but I wouldn't want to be a school age kid, teen, or adult sitting in that back row.

I think I'm going to trade it in for a larger SUV within the next year or so- CR-V or RAV-4, Acura RDX and the smaller Volvo SUV (XC 60?) look super nice but not sure worth the price premium.

My choice: I can pick the 2009 Prius or the 2006 minivan. The Prius is cheap to run and carries a good bit. The minivan is tougher to park but can carry a sofa or 600 pounds of mulch or 23 storage boxes or six kids - ask me how I know!

Oh my gosh. I SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE! My son scraped up our Toyota Highlander in a crowded parking lot. And I often talk about getting a little Mini Cooper! So funny. I thought I was the only one.

Plus one on the Sienna- we have an 8 seater 2022 and love it. Great gas mileage since it is hybrid; tons of cargo space; great for carpooling

We have a Mercedes 350 GLE and an Audi S5. Kids 8 and 11. I had a three row vehicle and we never used the third row and it was too much trouble for my to park. DS 18 years old has an Audi

How many kids and how old? Love our old, banged up Subaru Outback for carpooling, hauling stuff, and trips. More cargo space than a Forester and fits three across in small boosters comfortably. Plus we're in DC and it looks like crap, so not a preferred target for carjacking and break ins.

First car out of college was a Honda Civic
When we had kids, Honda Odyssey (that thing can fit 5 bikes, 5 people's luggage, 5 people sitting, with a kayak on top and room leftover no problem)
Two now in college (still need to haul stuff to move them in and out), and one in HS. Drive a Honda CRV

I have a Forester, it’s fine. Honestly I would drive a golf cart.

My big complaints are that it’s noisy on the highway and that it’s ALWAYS beeping at me. I don’t think there’s a way to operate the stupid car without getting beeped at.

But it’s very practical for hauling kids and stuff around.

Toyota Sequoia. 3 teens. No complaints - works well for my needs
