Why are some of you people settling for crap pie crust? Crispy, flaky, and fabulous -- that's a pie crust.

Flaky and crispy is still soft. Easy for old people to eat. Are you eating crunchy pies?

+1. Pie is delicious and I have liked it my whole life. It’s not an old person thing. But our area doesn’t have great pie (I have tried the DC and NoVA stores - expensive and mediocre). Mom’s Apple Pie Company in Leesburg is delicious though! Wish it weren’t so far away.

Because they know good food when they see it! Pie is delicious and 1000x better than cake.

Try Pie Gourmet in Vienna.

I’m in my 40s and like pie, my teenage kids love pie though. I guess they didn’t get the memo that it’s for old people.

Why wouldn't EVERYONE love pie, is my question! It's so delicious. And if you get a fruit pie, it's basically a salad.

As someone who just had all four wisdom teeth removed, I appreciate pie because it’s easy to eat when your teeth are “compromised”! It makes a good breakfast, dessert or afternoon snack.

Really, people being excited about pie is some kind of age-based weirdness? What else ya got, OP?

I love pie.
I prefer it to cake -- have had birthday pie for years.

Loved it since I was a kid... but now I am old... so I guess I still fit the profile

Maybe because it is less sweet than other desserts. Certainly less sweet than cake, a rich brownie, or cookies.

Because it's easy, OP.

I like quiche, and lasagna and things with crusts. They're very caloric, so I don't make them often. I don't like the store-bought stuff.

+1

My non-old husband loves eating pie.

+2
My teens and college aged kids do too.
