Why? Aren’t boring errands more fun with friends? Like instead of driving alone you can laugh about your day and hers, and you feel happy that you have a friend to do chores with.

Because Myers-Briggs doesn't map to a spectrum like that without some assumptions. There's only one category in MB ranking introversion/extroversion, and it's the first letter I or E. The other categories are not clearly introverted or extroverted, like intuition/sensing, thinking/feeling, and judgment/perception. Those last three don't clearly map to introvert or extrovert, or there wouldn't be an introvert/extrovert category. Are sensing people more extroverted than intuitive people? Who knows. How those other "cognitive functions"s were mapped, I have no idea.
Of course, MB suffers from at least two defects. It assumes that people are essentially binary in nature, being either one or the other. And, more importantly, that people don't react to situations. You always behave according to your MB type.

Funny. I’m INTJ and have had people get so annoyed when I start poking similar holes into the whole thing.

I think everyone calls themselves introverted these days. I find it very curious and wonder extroversion is becoming in volume comparable to left-handedness, because I sense there are much fewer of them today.

ENTJ female. I guess I like being around people? But I don't need it. I looovvvee being alone. I haven't felt lonely in my life, even in pretty isolating situations. Wherever I go, there I am! I might be a little chatty and friendly at the nail salon or bar...that E can come out after a lot of alone time.

As introverted as it gets. I need about a week’s recovery for every two hours of social interaction. One hour if it’s a romantic connection. Ideally, I see friends four or five times per year.
