One of her children was in my class and it was hell. I was not allowed to contact her about anything without first running my email by a lawyer and administrator because every email home resulted in legal threats and 659363 meetings.
She tried to get every single administrator and special education teacher in the school fired. These were good, experienced teachers who ended up quitting and moving schools just to not have to deal with her the following year. She sued FCPS multiple times just in the 9 months I had her child. I was part of 7 FOIAs in 1 year from her alone.
My admin was unable to deal with anything else that year because she was in at least 6 hours a week of meetings with Tisler. Every week. Every meeting ended the same, with Tisler angry, threatening people, and demanding people be fired. I have never seen so many grown adults cry after interacting with her. She is mean, unreasonable, and frankly—psychotic.
I wish I was exaggerating, but I’m 99% certain the woman’s goal is to bring down FCPS and get private school vouchers. The thought of her on the school board is enough to send me into cold sweat. If she’s in charge, staff is going to bleed. She is going to destroy things for the school system and be happy about it.
And that’s not even mentioning the moms for Liberty endorsement.
Thank you for sharing. And thank you for all you’ve done as a teacher. When people ask why it’s so hard to be a teacher or principal in FCPS, they need to be shown this post.
Perhaps, but a divisive board that pits parents and teachers against each other has been a disaster. The board needs balance. One party rule is typically a disaster. Fcps and BOS is no exception.
If republicans actually cared about getting things done they wouldn’t have endorsed wife beaters, insurrectionists, and “vaccines cause autism” kooks.
Republicans blew it this go around. Better luck in 2027.
The party in charge is responsible for our disasterous results, $9m in legal fees each year, and unsustainable tax obligations. The dems are doing a great job destroying fcps without any help.

And this is exactly what you’ll get with any one of the republicans running. If they get even 1 seat they’ll use it to wreak havoc.

Anderson? She is in Mason, not Springfield.

She’s in Springfield vs Tisler.
