Really? Mine is only tight around my hairline and then it basically balloons out. Bonnets prevent tangles but flatten my hair to my head in a way that is really unhelpful for low density hair.

Not OP but how do you wash your pillowcase? I have allergies and am supposed to wash and dry my linens on hot. The silk pillowcases I have seen say you have to wash them in cold and line dry.
