You are doing the right thing trusting your instincts to get your 9mos old evaluated, even if your DH/his dad disagrees. There is no substitute for early intervention. And, in general, always trust your mom instincts. You are a great mom!

They’re not your friends. They’re not even good people. I know you thought they were both. You will survive being the ousted one. You will get to the point where you can laugh or don’t care. It was true: the best revenge was living well and not carrying. Your career is about to take off in the most unexpected way to boot.

Just divorce him next time he’s a jerk. Don’t keep fighting for a bad marriage. You’ll be fine and happy again without him, and it’ll save you a year is so if extra misery.
