We had a simple human step can that was great, until mice found our way into the kitchen. They got into the trash at the pedal. We switched to the hands free simple human can that is mouse proof, it’s also been great.

We have the butterfly-lid opening Simple Human one. It's expensive, but sooo worth it! Fits right next to our kitchen counter and the butterfly-lid opening means the lid doesn't hit the lip of the counter when opening.
