Most of the happily married ones got married before a prenup would have been useful. I can't think of anyone I know with a prenup other than one with a ton of family money who married a grad school classmate who has been happy beyond 5 years.
The ones getting married primarily for the looks and bedroom haven't stayed happy.

Unless you become rich very young by founding a unicorn from your dorm room, were a child star, or come from a very wealthy family, most people will get married before a prenup is useful. Especially if you are pursuing a path like the traditional business world, banking, law etc.—the real money will likely come after marriage.

It’s possible but I’m glad I did the right thing, blah blah blah. Believe me, I’ve thought about what those few minutes could have been like way more than I should. 😈

Smart women don't agree to one that would screw them over. "Prenup," in and of itself, is meaningless. It all comes down to the terms.

Rich men can afford what it takes to be discrete. It’s a lot less expensive than losing half of ones net worth. Their wives lie the lifestyle and thus turn a blind eye to what’s going on plus can find their own boy toy if reasonably attractive.

Love. Loyalty. Kids. Emotional attachment. Familiarity. Dividing finances and responsibilities. Reputation. Morality. Low sex drive or ability to do it solo. There could be literally dozens of reasons, one wouldn't want to disrupt theirs and family's lives.

We are rich (bc of both of our earrings). Dh has low drive bc of antidepressants. It seems like half his firm (which is 90% men at the top) have mental health issues and are likely on some type of medication. I would not be surprised if this was overall a very sizable portion of rich men)

Also “rich men” are too big of workaholics to have time for others including an affair partner
