Your son will not be able to get his CPA license while in college because he will lack the work experience requirement--but he can take the exams.

Anonymous wrote:Majoring in accounting was probably the best thing I've ever done for my career! I'm not a CPA, and besides a tax internship I did when I was 21, I've never held the title of "accountant." It's a very flexible major that prepares you for a range of jobs/fields.

It is called “work” for a reason. It isn’t meant to be fun. If you are diligent you can make a great living.
