Are these the ones you're talking about?

Yes! The peanut butter and the cookies and cream are gross -- but the box they have in store, Chocolate and cookie dough -- great! and great ratios.

To echo others though --- Tuna, Cottage Cheese and Plain Greek Yogurt -- If you really want real food.

Stick with Rx bars, OP. Yes they are 200 calories. But they real food. Dates, nuts, egg whites.

All the rest are some combination of whey powders, pea protein blends, soy isolate, gelatin, sugars or sugar alcohols, chicory root, palm oil, and other ingredients I would rather not eat. Eating a birthday cake flavored protein bar sounds unappetizing to me (or another one of the fake flavors, brownie, oatmeal cookie, etc).

Bars are ultraprocessed.

This. Or nuts or salami.

Nuts are not a good source of protein.

NP - neither is salami. In both cases, the fat:protein ratio is vastly different from tuna or chicken or other lean sources of protein.

I found a recipe for perfect bars. I’m gonna make myself and leave out the honey.

Built bars. They are the lowest calorie / highest protein bang for your buck. Most are about 140 calories. Get the Puffs ones - the regular ones are very gluey inside.

I love the Perfect bars but they are so sweet. I think like 20 gams added sugar. I mean it is from honey, but still 20 grams is a lot.

I've always wondered about these. Might give them a try!
