If I were the bride to be and had learned of such a thing in the distant past, I would have told no one about it. Because my relationship with my sister comes before all others, so I absolutely would not be spreading chisme about her no matter how severe my personal reaction to whatever she had done.

The charitable thing for you to do here is assume that is what happened. Zip your lips.

Would you really feel betrayed if you found out your friend know? I would probably thank my friend for not telling me. Although I probably also wouldn't care. I DEFINITELY wouldn't appreciate hearing about it from my friend who heard it second hand.

The bride to be may already be aware of this information and you may not be privy to that. Stay out of it and mind your own business. It would be totally different if the little sister had been sleeping with the husband to be.

I guess I’d want to know that my sister is a liar and a snake, but it’s probably not the right time to tell her any of this.
I agree that it would be more relevant if she was marrying Sam, but she’s not and has moved on.

You say nothing. You have no idea how verified this info is, bombshell dropper could have heard it as a rumor and taken it as fact. Bride may already know. If Bride was about to marry Sam, or if you had some info like little sis was about to move in with bride and fiancé or something that changed the risk/reward scenario of telling, then I would have different advice. Tell yourself you heard a rumor and forget it.

Some of you really need to develop the skill of discretion. Of course you say nothing, forget you ever heard it. If it pops into your mind, you say to yourself "none of my business" and move on.

Why is this so hard for people? You just keep reminding yourself that it has nothing to do with you, which it doesn't, and turn your mind to other things.

I do not understand the gossipy, busy-body impulse to share "juicy" information that only has the potential to harm people. Why would you want that. You and the person who told you this need to learn to MYOB. You're toxic.

Maybe if it was between two friends, then I would share this info months after the wedding. However, between two sisters, I don't think I would get involved. You become part of the problem too.

Well I would absolutely tell your best friend/ bride to be to cause her pain and ruin her relationship with her younger sister.
