Holy Hell, I'm old as PHUCK.
I am 52, surrounded by a bunch of children.
Professional services firm in NYC. We're on two floors. But even the lift taking us up to the upper floors kept dropping off these Gen Z children who were dressed in like jeans and shit.
Like. This is soooooo depressing the hell out of me.
I am 46 and I can’t remember every not wearing jeans at work or being surprised when anyone else did. It’s not 1952.
I am 46 and never wore jeans to the office. Jeans were only allowed on Fridays. My current office does not allow jeans. Not even on Fridays.

Agree fake post but OP is playing like he’s English with “bloody” and “lift” but that is incongruent with “jeans and shit”
Low effort post 1/10

We have a loose dress policy in that you need to have appropriate attire for your situation of the day. No meetings or interactions with administration? I'm probably not even taking off my sneakers!

... you're bloody lucky, OP. Three of my friends have had serious cancers in the last few years. We're all somewhat struggling in our marriages. Teens have various issues, some mental, some medical.
Aging is not for the faint of heart, but the alternative is worse.
Oh for heaven's sake, this is totally off topic.
No, it's not. And you'll realize when you get there.
In the last 6 months I've had two friends die of cardiac arrest (both thin, non smokers, 54 and 56), two friends have adult children OD, three friend's divorce and my wife got a bad diagnosis after some weird symptoms (advanced Lyme disease) and we aren't even 'old' yet at 55.
True or not this STILL has nothing to do with this post. Go
to the over 50 forum or health forum or something.
