Subject Line: bombs placed in building,
Email: There are several bombs placed in the Blair hs campus. They will be detonated soon. Good day
Are any other parents receiving this email from their kids as well? I am very concerned overall for the safety of the school.
You poor kids. IMO that’s terrorism.
It absolutely is. These kids need some consequences!!

It's infuriating the this keeps happening, and very stressful for my 9th grader who is still adjusting to high school. MCPS needs to track down and punish the offenders.
Or maybe MCPD even since it's their job whereas MCPS job is to not investigate crime but educate children
MCPS and the BOE do not want MCPD in our schools. Voters in Montgomery County do not want police in schools. We have made our voices heard loud in clear.
This is a lie. Voters never voted on this issue. And it's even a stretch to say MCPS as a whole doesn't want MCPD in our school.
The BOE doesn't, Marc Elrich and Will Jawando didn't, but principals overwhelming did and many parents were in favor of it as well.
There is not a singular, majority "clear" voice on this. Just a lot of people with strong opinions and bullhorns.

WHAT!! Now this is getting out of hand! I truly fear for all MCPS kids, something is wrong.
I guarantee you they're not real threats. Just bad kids looking for attention.

Anonymous wrote:And cops in school will do what to stop emailed bomb threats?!? Which are federal charges under the purview of the FBI?
Folks just love to continuously litigate culture war BS on here. Whats next book bans and bathroom rules? Jeez.
Yes, hopefully this person will be tracked down and charged quickly. It is academically and emotionally disruptive to thousands of kids and hundreds of teachers & staff.
