Caramelized onion, spinach and artichoke, cream cheese and salsa, 7 layer dip, etc.

I also like the tortilla roll ups with cream cheese, scallions, and other fixins

For New Years Eve we have a dip off. Everyone makes a dip. We don’t have a large family, but five dips ends up being almost a meal. Then we play games and drinks.

I agree with many of the suggestions already made and would add:

- vegetable + fruit skewers
- brie wheel with nice crackers
- chicken wings
- nice selection of nuts and cheeses
- bruschetta

Spanakopita, the frozen ones.

The red pepper things (really don't know what they are) stuffed with goat cheese.

Don't forget something sweet. A tray of various Greek treats.

Grape jelly meatballs

I also love a good charcuterie

If everyone is going to be standing, think about how they can balance the food and eat it. Lean toward one-bite things like mini quiche, meatballs, poppers.

Old school stuff is the best stuff. Agree with your entire list. Plus PPs’ suggestions of bacon-wrapped anything, and shrimp cocktail.

Came here to say jalapeño poppers, but agree with pps who say old school stuff is the best. I also love spinach artichoke dip with crusty bread. Get a baguette and slice it up - delicious!

I am not personally a fan of either pigs in blankets or deviled eggs, but agree that they are wiped out at any event I’ve ever attended.

Fondue is fun! I also love a good cheese plate.

I always put out chips and salsa, and often homemade guacamole using the Rosa Mexicano recipe. It’s great!

Deviled eggs in 2 flavors (usually smoked paprika and one that has lox flavor incorporated).

Candied pecans are a hit. Dates wrapped in bacon. Goat cheese and fig toast.

December means cheese balls, which I never see the rest of the year. Cheese anything is good. The little cranberry goat cheese logs at Trader Joe’s…yes, please!

You’ve gotten some good suggestions. Keep it to things that are easy to pick off the platter with tongs or a spoon.

These are usually a hit with the same crowd.
