Is this a typical amount of divorce filings? Seems like a lot. I’m guessing the dude is dead somewhere, self-inflicted.
I hope his ex-wife is under protection. Surely she is next on his list.

Oh clearly it was physical and severe. You don’t get that kind of custody order without serious physical abuse. And of course he proved himself a physical abuser by, you know, murdering the judge.

I'm a former domestic violence advocate and later prosecutor. He looks VERY much like the typical wife abuser/domestic violence killer to me. The notion that such people look like ??? or behave like ??? is so antiquated. Most violently abusive men look like your doctor or dentist or pharmacist or whatever and not so much like the ??? of your biased imaginings.
So your stereotype is more accurate than another poster's stereotype ?
The very obvious meaning of PP's statement is that domestic abusers look like a cross section of everyone and not anyone in particular. I'm coming at this from the opposite angle (I used to do criminal defense, including for domestic abusers) and I agree. There's no one thing that "domestic abusers" look like.

Man wanted in connection with judge's murder had divorce case before judge Thursday
The man wanted in connection with the shooting death of Washington County Circuit Judge Andrew Wilkinson was part of a divorce case that was the only matter before the judge Thursday, according to the day's court docket.
Wilkinson signed an order Thursday saying there was to be no visitation or contact between Pedro Argote — wanted in connection with Wilkinson's slaying Thursday night — and his children, according to the partial judgment in the divorce case. There also was to be no contact between Argote and the children's mother.
Clearly the judge made the right call, and was killed for it. Heartbreaking.

Yes they do, but it takes a “special”
kind of man to actually murder the judge. having to face consequences is a big trigger for abusive men.
