Us, too. Married 20yrs. I forget the actual date but it was the first weekend of December, and usually one of us says something similar to PP above.

We never have, but we were engaged by the 1-year mark anyway. Married 15 years and we do celebrate our wedding anniversary.

We were work friends who started going out more and more after work until one night we kissed, so it really wasn’t a first date but 25+ years on, we still celebrate that anniversary. We don’t make a big deal about it, but always acknowledge it to each other and are extra flirty and lovey with each other. It’s a sweet memory of the beginning of our relationship.

Our wedding day was important and a lovely day but stressful and a hassle. It felt like a continuation of something wonderful rather than the beginning of it. We have been known to both forget our wedding anniversary so we now have an annual calendar reminder a week beforehand so we can make dinner reservations and get a babysitter.

We mention it fondly to each other and usually reminisce, but we don’t actively celebrate it. We celebrate our wedding anniversary.
