We went to the Open House today. It.is.not.that.great.
Lol. What didn't impress you?
The vibe.
The dancers.
Translation: too diverse.
DP: It was very diverse (which didn’t bother me). But the hyper sexual dance routines were a bit much for a Sunday morning at a catholic school open house. I think the band was awesome and the dancers were an unnecessary distraction.

I made the comment and I am Black. So not opposed to diversity. It just seemed too much. All they needed was a pole. Not sure why they allowed that - it detracted from the band and wasn’t necessary.

This is true. And psst, the MCPS kids are smarter than the local K-8 Catholic kids especially better at math. So the MCPS kids score higher on the HSPT and voila, the kids who used to get in with mid scores and grades can no longer get in anymore.
We saw tons of fellow mcps families at the open house today—including families whose older kids are in public high schools.

We did too. Sorry K-8 families, you're about to get iced out.
You are delusional! The kids from the Catholic K-8s will get the nod first. Those relationships are strong and go back decades. First hand knowledge of how it works.
