Lost 20-ish lbs which is not a full clothing size on someone my height. But, when the weather changed I pulled out all my favorite long sleeves that I had stopped wearing because they were too tight around my tummy, and they fit!

Before measure - after measure

Thigh 27 - 21
Hips 45 - 34
Waist 36 - 28
Bust 42 - 36

Have bought tons of new clothes and feel great for the first time in years.

Have been exercising 5-6 days a week (Sundays are always my day off), and tracking everything that goes in my mouth.

Those are huge changes. Congrats!

How tall are you?

I joined a gym 10 days ago for the first time in nearly 20 years. I’ve worked out 8/10 days.

I've lost 40lbs since March. This morning I took a pair of jeans off the shelf that haven't fit me since I got pregnant with my now-18 year old and they fit me! I wish I could say I saved them because they are amazing jeans but honestly they are from Old Navy and I think they just got pushed to the back and sat there for years without me realizing it, but who cares? They fit!

I had to go downstairs and let someone into our secure building at work. 3 years ago I would feel like I was going to pass out after climbing those steps. I lost 80 pounds in the last year. Today I climbed those stairs, held a conversation and wasnt even slightly winded......I feel amazing.

I gained 60lbs while pregnant and dropped maybe 12lbs the first few weeks postpartum. Plateaued for months 30lbs over and 16 months later, I’m 5lbs away from pre-baby weight! I tried everything but counting/watching calories was the only way for me. Feels so good to be more myself.

In the last week I decided I am not going to continue in this trajectory and need to invest in myself so I can be healthy and around for my family and myself. I quit my nightly wine habit and my morning tea with sugar habit. I started walking a minimum of 10,000 steps (up from average of around 6,000) and am hitting my water goal and tracking macronutrients through Fitbit. I have lost zero weight on the scale so far, but I am sleeping better, my HRV is improved and I’d say keeping low carb/higher protein is keeping my mood weigh more steady throughout the day.

I’m so sorry about your miscarriages.

Your progress is wonderful! I remember how hard it was to give up sugar in my tea but I now love the taste of the tea so much more!

I have been trying to lose 5 pounds for 5 years. Starting in late August, I seriously cut back on carbs, sugar, flour, and bread, and cut out dessert entirely. I also started exercising regularly (alternating 30 Min run with light weight training). I saw minimal results for the first 6 weeks (about 2 pounds) so I really cut back on exercising for the past couple of weeks but kept the diet modifications. Lo and behold, the weight finally started dropping off and I’m now down a total of 5 pounds! I’m trying to get back into my exercise routine and try to lose another 2 pounds by thanksgiving so I can be at my target weight. I still worry that my weight loss is temporary but I’m trying to reassure myself that if I did it, I can keep it off.

That’s so great!! I bet you’ll see results in 3 weeks. I was feeling so dejected since I didn’t see results for about a month but then all of a sudden, things picked up!

Joined a gym 3 weeks ago and have gone 3x per week since. I expected it to be hard to find the time, but it's more doable than expected. No real measurable progress yet, but it feels great, which is enough for now!

My goal is to be able to get myself up a rock climbing wall, which I could do 10 years ago but currently don't have the strength:weight for. Any combination of building muscle and dropping fat will do it.

I moved up to 25 lb dumbbells for my shoulder presses and snatches. Took me many months to move from 20lbs.
