I read Ultra Processed People and was so grossed out that I just somehow stopped. Also helped me make healthier choices so I think it was the whole thing. Sort of like a whole 30 but not as extreme, but enough for me to see how much better I felt not eating processed stuff. Even down to buying plain yogurt with no stabilizers and adding fruit and maple sugar — felt better after that then when I ate Greek yogurt that comes with fruit to stir in. Little changes like that but they added up to somehow quieting the food noise and desire to binge. I am still eating a certain dark chocolate that is pretty much the only one I found that doesn’t make me crave more. Now it’s only been 3 months but that’s about 4 times longer than I’ve ever gone before and I routinely find myself not even wanting to go to, say, a donut shop if I pass it; or easily quashing the momentary temptation if I even feel temptation.

This is why I started taking semaglutide (not Ozempic specifically). It's truly life-changing.
