Nope. The key for me is to put dry shampoo in before I workout/before it looks dirty

I used to wash my hair every day and hated if my hair was dirty. Then i face it a try and once u got used to it it became easier to skip a day or two.

Even with good moisturizing shampoo, if I washed my hair every day it would be a dry frizzy mess

Do you use a special dry conditioner? Which one? Or do you wet the hair and apply conditioner?

You know how your hair stylist tells you that your hair will adjust to shampooing less? They are right. I work out every day and sweat a lot. I rinse and condition my hair every day and shampoo 1x a week. I use dry shampoo after I shower to add texture. I have fine hair that used to get oily but doesn't anymore now that I am shampooing less.

Yes - I have fine straight hair that tends to get oily. It gets soaked with sweat 6 days per week - it would be absolutely gross to not wash it daily.

Only if I get soaked with sweat. I have curly hair that would get too dry if I washed daily. I use a homemade essential oil spray on my roots and massage in as needed to freshen things up after basic workouts and save the washes for the super sweaty days or for the particularly hormonal days when I just feel greasy all over.
